Beginning and Intermediate Bands meet on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm

Thankfully, we’ve received a large number of beginning band students this year. The hard part, however, is making sure that each student progresses individually. These required rehearsals will include sectionals where each instrument group will be working with high school players on the fundamentals like fingerings, scales, and other foundational elements of playing the instrument. 

 

Course Outline: Please understand all these objectives are provided by the Virginia Standard of Learning and supported by the Music Educators National Conference. We will be studying those objectives together throughout the school year. Students will diagnose and correct performances throughout the year.
