Advanced Band students meet every Tuesday after school from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.  Advanced Band students are one of the top and oldest ensembles at Queens Lake, therefore the expectations are higher for them. This group consists mostly of 8th graders but will have a few 7th and even some 6th graders that are showing tremendous progress. They are required to attend rehearsal each Tuesday to prepare for concerts, district band auditions, etc.  Along with sectionals run by high school band students, these rehearsals will be utilized to work on the overall sound of the band for concerts and even the State Band Assessments in the Spring.  An after school activities bus is available on Tuesdays.
